  1. Hi Steven,

Happy New Year to you! I trust you are having an enjoyable day. My name is Todd Stepp and I work for BooksChristian.com, here in Franklin, TN. We are a Christian owned & operated company that sells over 200,000 Christian products.

I have visited stevenruff.wordpress.com and have noticed that you post book reviews on your blog. I wanted to see if you would be interested in partnering with us, enabling visitors to your blog to purchase books that you review, as well as other books that you may suggest to them (books of the day etc.). In return we would pay you 9% on every sale made. There is very little work that would need to be done on your end, as we provide all the tools to create links and codes that you can post on your blog.

I would love to discuss this further with you at your earliest convenience. I look forward to hearing from you!

    Regards,

    Todd Stepp

  4. I love that you like to read.
Fiction? Have you read “The Help” or “Cutting for Stone” — one of the best books I’ve read in a long time.

Would you be interested in reviewing my book on parenting –
“Raising Able: how chores cultivate capable young people.”
I’ll send you a review copy if you are. Email me —

  5. Steven,

I have really enjoyed your reviews of books especially the one you did on ‘1000 Days’. Your careful discernment and absorbtion into the book really shows not only how much you like to read but that you read for understanding. I am writing because I just published a book and would love to get your review of it (no matter what you end up thinking of it!). It would help me not only in exposure but I really appreciate a review from someone who will give their attention to it.

The book is actually only a part of a large project called ‘Days With Jesus’. It combines the book, which walks the reader through the first half of the Gospel of John, with numerous videos shot on-location in Israel hosted on the website where a person can see where that particular Day took place. I call the book a ‘Docuvotional’ as I attempt to take the reader through the life of Jesus as told to us by His disciple John, then help the reader to try and apply the teachings in a devotional manner.

If you would like to read it I can send you the ebook unless you would prefer a different format. Feel no rush but if you would like to do a write-up on it I would be grateful. Please just shoot me an email if it interests you to do a review so I can be on the lookout for it.

    Thanks for your consideration!

    Blessings,

    Jim

  7. Kevin,

I would love to review your book. However, I am likely one of the last to move from physical books to ebooks. I dont own an ereader. Could you send a physical copy? You are correct that my readers would be interested in what you have written. Thanks for your consideration.

  8. Hey Steven!

    Hello from FishFlix.com

My name is Max, I’m writing because I recently found your blog and noticed that you sometimes review Christian products. We’re looking for bloggers like you who would like to review a Christian DVD for us.

FishFlix.com is one of the top sites on the web for Christian and family-friendly DVDs. We love having bloggers review products for us because it gives us perspective on the products we sell, and provides us with ever-valuable backlinks.

Could I send you a free DVD in exchange for an honest review and two links to our site? If you’re interested, please reply with your mailing address and your preference of movie type [Children’s | Feature Film | Documentary].
